LO3: Be able to present results of research

Slide #1 (INTRODUCTION)

This slide mainly will focus on introducing the topic and what the presentation will be about. To make sure that the presentation is formal I will need to insure when speaking that I keep good eye contact. In addition to this I will also need to insure that I introduce the topic and myself, brief summary of what presentation consists of.



Notes 
  • Introduce myself to the individuals and also the topic heading
  • Provide a brief summary of what the presentation will look at and what will be based on.
This will be something like "I will be discussing the research I have collected and also from my research the decisions that as a group we selected, the research complete will look into Zeus Sport target audience, target market, competitors, methods used to appeal, costs for production for own production."

Slide #2 (TARGET AUDIENCE)

This section of my presentation looks into the research completed for the target audience, it looks into the different headings as shown below and I have include graphs and statistics that are both from my primary and secondary research as shown below: 
Notes/Instructions 

This section of the slide show looks at the first set into my target audience, this being the areas as bullet pointed within my research. 

Begin by informing individuals about the Target audience, from this point move onto the first heading this being the TV viewing habits. 
  •  Inform individuals about  the amount of hours spent watching television. This being that the most popular choice from the questionnaire is "10-15 hours." This following "15+" hours watched on television. 
  • Then explain what this means in relation to Zeus sport and when we have decided to slot in our advertisement and that the amount of time watched suggests that the timing selected for Zeus Sport can vary. 
Move onto the next heading this being lifestyle of consumers, within this section mention the following: 
  • People they watch television with, results from the questionnaire. This being that they usually watch television with their "siblings" from our group results. 
  • Briefly talk about the interest that individuals have on keeping health and the value that this gives to our product. 
The next heading at this stage will be discussed this being the interest of media preferences, for this heading their is support as the graph is including giving individuals are more visualised view of the information: 
  •  Begin by introducing the heading and explaining the questionnaire results and showing the graph as support, provide the information that most popular choice is SKY then following Channel 4. 
  • Also talk about the secondary research found. 
  • Contrast between the two and what this means for Zeus Sport
The final heading to talk about on this is programme preferences, began by talking about the secondary research and show individuals the supported image on the right hand side of the slide. Compare this to the primary research of media preferences. 

Slide #3 (TARGET AUDIENCE) 

This slide within the presentation looks at the second half of the target audience information,however includes more demographic information as shown below:

This section of the slide show looks at the second set into my target audience, this being the areas as bullet pointed within my research. 

  • Age , discuss the results gained for the age of consumers, and use statistical reference this being the percentages to be more professional and use the support of the graph on the presentation. 
  • Gender -  67% males, 33% females
  • Discuss the marital status and also the internet usage with the support of the Mintel report. 


Slide #4 (TARGET MARKET)

This slide within the presentation looks at the target market for Zeus sport from the research used as shown below:


Notes/Instructions 

  • Begin by introducing the heading and then move onto the first heading this being the market segment  with the research gained use reference to the secondary research and explain Zeus Sport and where it belongs in the Market Segment. 
  • Move onto the market growth of the product and talk about the development the market has been made in reference to the graph and show the success it has made and what this means in relation to Zeus Sport


Slide #5 (COMPETITORS)

This slide within the presentation looks at the competitors for Zeus sport from the research used as shown below: 
Notes/Instructions 

For this section of the presentation make sure to talk about the following aspects: 
  • Competitor 1 - Lucozade, what the business is, what product it provides and also statistics from research supporting the success of the business.
  • Competor 2 - Powerade what the business is, what product it provide
  • Discuss the success using the secondary research gained that is shown on the bottom of the slide fro lucozade, briefly mention coco cola. 


Slide #6 (COMPETITORS/ METHODS OF ADVERTISING)


This slide within the presentation looks at the competitors for Zeus sport from the research used as shown below:

Notes/Instructions 


  • The slide target the methods of advertising this being the use of internet and website, and link in to previous research. 
  • First explain what the two competitors use as their methods of adversing. From this stage inform users that they will be looking at how effective the methods is by going through Lucozade website and the different promotional techniques used. 


Slide #7 (COMPETITORS/ METHODS OF ADVERTISING)

This slide within the presentation looks at the competitors for Zeus sport from the research used as shown below:


  • For this section of the presentation introduce the heading and from this point inform individuals that both of the competitors use of advertisement as a method to appeal to their consumers, from this stage move onto introducing the example that will be watched this being the "POWERADE Made you look" advertisement. 
  • After looking at the advertisement talk briefly about the message being portrayed and the how techniques and lines of appeal have been set in to put across the information and message of the product. 
  • From this point explain from the advertisement watched what this means in relation to Zeus sport and what the group will do for our advertisement based on the research found. 


Slide #8 (PRODUCTION COSTS)

Finally the last slide within the presentation looks at the production costs for Zeus sport from the research used as shown below: 


For this section of the presentation I will need to make sure that I go through the budgets and when doing so justify why the price is set to the that budget from the research. From this stage specifically go through the subheading and explain the decisions of place and cost for them.
